If you run any kind of website – commercial or personal – you can add affiliate link packages to it and get paid each time somebody clicks from your page. The most popular schemes are Google’s 'Adsense' and Amazon's 'Associates' – and don’t cost a penny to install. Of course, if you're to generate a substantial income through these schemes you'll need a high level of site traffic, and this can be difficult to achieve.
If you're sure you can provide site content which will appeal to a substantial number of people then give it a try, but generally it's not worth starting one up just for the purpose of affiliate linking.
How much? A niche website with loyal usage could earn £1,000s a year from these links.

following and $upporting
nice, 1000 euros sounds good.
i need more traffic
You'd have to target something specific and have good content. Also would need some SEO.
I've worked hard on optimizing my site, and just bought a domain name for it. The 'blogspot.com' is gone, which helps.
I'm up to 380ish followers, and still only netting 125-225 page views a day. Ads help make beer money, but it's not a full time payout quite yet.
Increase your reader level by networking. Find blogs to follow, and look in heavily commented posts. Add/follow/comment those people, and most will do the same. The more people you're following on a regular basis, the more will follow you on a regular basis.
If you understand SEO and social networking, a great way to earn a little extra cash is to go to local small business in the area and help them get a web presence. iPage is a good hosting site with easy to use templates. Charge the business $500 to make a website, plus hosting fees of $50/year. You'll make some fast easy money.
adsense works great for me, just starting to seo my site
cool tip...I've no idea on SEO'ing tho
the only problem is building up traffic.
